Monti focuses on helping clients identify and attain their own personal goals in therapy. She believes in empowering her clients while compassionately guiding them through the therapy process with a mind-body approach to healing. She believes that therapy is collaborative process between her and her clients.
Monti holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Monti has worked at SafePlace, where she worked with individuals who had experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. Monti has also worked at Bowie High School College and Career Center, where she provided career and academic counseling to high school students and co-facilitated an adolescent grief support group. Monti has also worked with individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and Schizoaffective Disorder at Bluebonnet MHMR in Round Rock.
Although Monti works with individuals who have many different issues and concerns, Monti specializes in working with people who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, trauma, and individuals who have experienced major psychosis. Monti has a special interest in working with the LGBT community and her Master’s Report focused on Domestic Violence in the LGBT community. She has worked with a broad and diverse group of clients, both adults and adolescents, in individual and group counseling.

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.
