Deep breath. Is it time for you to try something different? Would you like more from life? Are you feeling disconnected from others? Not enough? Stuck? Lost? Struggling in a relationship? Challenged by a transition? Frustrated by a midlife crisis? Craving a career change? Devastated by a loss or the death of a loved one? Or, is your desire to deepen your spiritual understanding, spark your creative expression, or find greater purpose and meaning? I’ve been there too.
My own painful experiences and difficult life lessons coupled with an unwavering commitment to working my “growth edge”, however, have led me to not only discover an integrative process for relieving suffering, but also develop a sincere desire to support others on their paths to healing and growth. As your therapist, I can offer you gentle guidance and the precious opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage your natural strengths, innate wisdom, and deep-rooted resilience in the pursuit of positive change, inner peace, and passionate living.
Working together, you and I will co-create a still, safe space for you to turn inward, listen, and dig deep to discover and experience who you really are. In doing so, we will contemplate your inner landscape, experiences, and relationships as well as your hopes, dreams, and wishes. We will invite wonder, awakening, and answers to some of life’s most thought-provoking questions. We will also consider healthy practices for coping with the stress and demands of daily life.
Using an existential approach to therapy that draws from cognitive, mindfulness, and body-mind-spirt wellness practices, we will mindfully connect with the here and now, open to new perspectives, ponder promising possibilities, and cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. We will also elicit insights, seek to engender loving self-acceptance and acceptance of What Is, explore your thoughts and feelings, clarify what is important to you, and do what matters.
You are wise to ask for help. The path to healing, growth, and greater fulfillment in life is no small task. It takes willingness, courage, curiosity, strength, hope, deep listening, love, trust, openness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, patience, vulnerability, and more. It also exacts a commitment to the fiery pursuit of one’s full potential and the emergence of an authentic, accepting, present, values-driven, and wholehearted way of being.
In therapy, as in life, you may get uncomfortable. You will be presented with challenges, yet they will have the potential to help you evolve, find peace within, and enliven the real you. As you unveil what is real, you are likely to enjoy greater freedom. You are more apt to embody joy that is subtle, yet profound. You will begin to feel more peaceful and at ease. Your healing will be uplifting. Your growth will be life-affirming. And, your transformation? Life-changing.
I am so glad you are here and would welcome the chance to work with you as your therapist. If you feel inspired to share your story with me, please request an appointment. Thank you!
Seek the wisdom that will untie your knot. Seek the path that demands your whole being.
