SMS Terms

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Austin Mindfulness Center offers optional text messaging for administrative intake questions, scheduling, and guidance on completing paperwork in our electronic health record (EHR) system. After you submit our initial request survey and choose SMS, our intake staff may text you at the mobile number you provide. Our program number is (737) 399-2806.

Your choice

By selecting the SMS consent option in our initial request survey, you agree to receive texts for the purposes described here. You may leave that option unchecked and still submit the survey and receive services. You can withdraw SMS consent at any time.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your intake and scheduling needs. Your wireless provider may charge message and data rates for texts you send to us and texts we send to you. Contact your wireless provider about your plan and charges.

Stopping messages

To unsubscribe, reply STOP to (737) 399-2806 at any time. You will receive a text confirming your unsubscribe request. After that confirmation, you will receive no further texts from this program unless you choose to join again.

Joining again

To join again, return to our initial request survey and select the SMS consent option, or call (512) 578-8070 for help with re-enrollment. Texting will resume only after your renewed consent and any required messaging-provider reactivation steps are complete.

Getting help

Reply HELP to (737) 399-2806 for messaging assistance, or call Austin Mindfulness Center at (512) 578-8070.

Delivery

Wireless carriers have no responsibility for messages that arrive late or fail to arrive. Text delivery is not guaranteed.

Clinical information and emergencies

Use our EHR system for clinical details and completed paperwork. Do not text clinical information or completed forms. This program is for administrative communication and is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
