Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Telehealth isn’t a compromise — for many people it’s the version of therapy that actually fits their life. Clients choose online sessions because:

  • No commute, no parking, no waiting room
  • Home feels safer for hard conversations
  • A packed schedule with no 90-minute window in it
  • They live hours from Austin — or anywhere in Texas
  • Kids, caregiving, or mobility make leaving home hard
  • They simply focus better in their own space

Sound like you? Reach out — a short conversation with our team can tell you a lot, with no commitment.

We Serve All Texas Communities

We see clients across Austin and its neighbors — Buda, Cedar Park, Georgetown, New Braunfels, Lake Travis, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Round Rock, San Marcos, Westlake — and across the whole state: Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, Amarillo, Abilene, Laredo, McAllen, Midland, Tyler, and Waco. If you’re in Texas, we can see you.

Which services are available online?

Nearly everything we do in the office: adult, child, teen, and couples counseling, plus anxiety, depression, grief, EMDR, and mindfulness-based therapy.

Your therapist will tell you honestly if they think your situation would benefit from in-person work — and many clients mix both.

Not sure what fits? Ask for a call.

How Online Sessions Work

Five minutes before your appointment, find a quiet spot and check your client portal messages and email for the session link. Your therapist joins at the scheduled time, and from there it’s simply therapy — the same presence, pacing, and care as our couches, minus the drive.

Existing clients can schedule, reschedule, or message their therapist any time through the client portal at mindful.mytheranest.com, or call or text (512) 578-8070.

Private, Secure, and Actually Personal

Sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant video — no recordings, no third parties, the same confidentiality rules as our office. And connection doesn’t thin out over video: our therapists are trained to build the same warmth on screen that they do in the room.

Is online therapy really as effective?

For most people and most concerns, yes — decades of research now show outcomes for online therapy on par with in-person care for anxiety, depression, and many other issues.

Where in-person genuinely helps — some play therapy with younger children, certain crisis situations — we’ll say so plainly and get you scheduled at the office instead. About half our clients choose telehealth and stay with it.

Wondering about your situation? Ask for a call.

Get Started Today

Your journey of healing doesn’t have to wait for a parking spot. New clients can request an appointment online in a few minutes; existing clients can schedule through the portal or by phone or text at (512) 578-8070.

We work with several insurance plans and offer clear self-pay rates — see Rates & Insurance, or get in touch and we’ll check your coverage before you begin.

The Telehealth Journey

From first call to progress that travels with you — here’s the whole arc.

  1. 1Reach out

Request an appointment online or call — a few minutes, no commitment, from anywhere in Texas.

  2. 2Get matched

Matcha, our custom matching platform, pairs you with the best-fit AMC therapist — distance is no longer part of the equation.

  3. 3Set up your space

A quiet corner, a device, the session link from your portal — five minutes of prep and you’re in the room.

  4. 4Sessions from anywhere

Same therapist, same care, whether you’re in Round Rock or McAllen — and rescheduling is a portal message away.

  5. 5Progress that travels

Skills built in your own space stick in your own life. We track progress together and say so when you’re ready.

Why Clients Choose Telehealth at AMC

Online isn’t a lesser version of our care — it’s the same care, delivered where you are.

Same therapists, same quality

Every online session is with the same clinicians who sit on our couches — every one of them also a trained mindfulness teacher.

What our clients are saying about us

After the first session it felt like the crowbar in my mind’s gears had been pulled out and I could think again.
